Taba is a small border town at the northeastern tip of the Sinai, at the crossroads of four countries: Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Less touristy than Sharm, it captivates with its dramatic scenery — red mountains plunging into the Gulf of Aqaba — and absolute tranquility.

October to April. Best in winter (December-February) when temperatures are mild. Avoid summer — extremely hot.
