Al-Wahat refers to the great oases of Egypt’s Western Desert, the most accessible being Bahariya Oasis, gateway to the White and Black Deserts. Just 4 hours from Cairo, it’s a world apart: hot springs, palm groves, endless dunes, and absolute silence. A destination for adventure lovers and those seeking a true escape.

Best Time to Visit

October to April. Summer is extreme (50°C+). Best period is November to February for pleasant temperatures and cool starlit nights.
